Filming & Editing the main exercise for 'watch your back'

I think the filming was successful although amy failed to come as she wasn't feeling to good on the day. I think the rest of the group pulled together really well under the pressure though. We filmed our final exercise under the rounabout near the jubilee clock in Weymouth. The opening sequence was for a new fiction film based on a girl getting stalked by her boyfriend after an arguement.

It wasn't intentional but the weather was cold and dull so i think this will show pathetic fallacy and reflect the mood of the opening sequence. There were a few problems with filming at the subway though. The first thing was the rain it kept getting on the equipment so we had to use an umbrella the second problem which was the worse was that we were filming in a public place so people kept walking past so we had to keep refiliming things as it was unreliable when they would next walk past again.

We were meant to use amy's friend to film but amy was ill, so there was a change of plan and we ended up using holly's friend james instead. Lucky mia was okay on the day of filming so we didn't need to change the girl actress. We filmed the flashbacks of the girl and her boyfriend 'mia' and 'james' at james house, which was good as the weather had no way of effecting the footage. We then walked to the subway and filmed the boyfriend later on in the day chasing the girl. Earlier in the day Holly had spoke to the police to make sure it was fine for us to film it there an make them aware its us incase anyone rings in thinking it was real life. We did the over the shoulder point of view shot of the boy watching his girlfriend walking along the subway, i think this worked really well and gave it a eerie feel.

I think we stuck to the storyboards well and just added a few more shots for the editing process. We filmed mia holding onto the bar instead of a shot of the moon as it was to dark for us to see the moon through the film.

We edited the film on windows movie maker and added in the titles on adobe premier pro. We also made the flashbacks grey so that people new it was a flashback.
